Sonya T. Lopez

Sonya Lopez was born on January 19, 1971. She graduated from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, PA in 1999. She received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, Rutgers College, New Brunswick, NJ in 1995. She was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court of New Jersey in 2001.

Sonya served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Warren Vicinage, to The Honorable Amy C. O'Connor, J.S.C. (Family Part). She served as in house counsel for Nationwide Insurance Company and Scottsdale Insurance Company prior to joining Kent & McBride, where she specialized in auto negligence, personal injury and premises liability defense. Currently, her areas of concentration include motor vehicle, premises liability, PIP litigation and arbitration and general civil litigation.
