Monica E. O’Neill

Monica, born in Kophaza, Hungary, is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, and has tried a number of cases to verdict in each of these jurisdictions.

Monica spent nine years as an Assistant District Attorney, working in the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, Brooklyn, New York, where she specialized in investigating and prosecuting arson and economic crimes. Since that time, her practice has been focused in the area of insurance defense, involving property, arson, casualty, fraud, and construction litigation. She currently heads the firm’s Property Group.

She has been published in numerous insurance industry publications and is a frequent speaker at national and regional conferences of PLRB and IASIU in the areas of arson investigation, fraud detection and the adjustment of property claims. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Claims Association and is frequently appointed by the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas to preside over settlement conferences as a Judge pro tem.
