Kevin E. Hoffman

Kevin Hoffman was born on June 4, 1961. He graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, South Carolina in 1987. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1983.

Kevin was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, in 1988. By operation of standing orders, he also represents Defendants in asbestos litigation in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, and in multi-district asbestos litigation in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. His practice is concentrated in the areas of toxic torts, chemical exposure, and products liability. His practice is primarily defense-oriented, representing manufacturers, distributors, and contractors in complex tort litigation, involving both personal injury and property damage. He has also litigated a wide range of claims in the areas of asbestos, officer and director liability, lead paint, mold exposure, sick building syndrome, multiple chemical sensitivities, latex allergies, formaldehyde sensitization, and silica.

Kevin is active in professional organizations relating to these areas of practice, serving in the following capacities: Board of Trustees, New Jersey State Bar Association (N.J.S.B.A.) Section on Products Liability and Toxic Torts; Former Co-Chair of the Mass Tort and Substantive Law Committees, N.J.S.B.A. Section on Products Liability and Toxic Torts; Member N.J.S.B.A. Environmental Law Section; Former member, Electromagnetic Field Litigation Sub-Committee, Defense Research Institute; Member, Defense Research Institute.
