John P. Shea

John Shea is a Partner in Kent & McBride’s Philadelphia office. He has successfully represented individual physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other health care facilities in several dozen trials in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties as well as in federal court.

The types of cases that John has worked with include birth defects, other OB/GYN cases (such as breast cancer and ovarian cancer), orthopedic matters (misdiagnosis and negligent treatment), general surgery matters, and general misdiagnosis matters.

John has been asked by health care institutions to consult on risk management and policy implementation. He has been invited to speak on issues relating to the medical profession and transportation sector.
